Uh oh.
During a recent interview for HuffPost Live, "Franklin & Bash" stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer began discussing Mark's former "Saved by The Bell" co-star Dustin Diamond and his tell-all book.
Breckin actually kicked things off with:
“That guy is such a dick,”
“I need to say it. I don’t know Dustin at all, but… [Gosselaar] and I have talked endlessly about Saved By The Bell…The Dustin Diamond thing is just so silly. It’s just so negative and it always bums me out.”
Mark quickly chimed in:
“Everything that I’ve heard about his book is negative and I don’t remember those things,”
“My experience on the show was very positive and that’s why when people say, oh you don’t like talking about it,’ it’s like no, I don’t mind talking about it, I just don’t really remember that time and also everything I do remember was extremely positive. I still have friendships from it.”
See, Mark took the safe route and played it nice, while Breckin pretty much shot from the hip being brutally honest.
Dustin infamously refused to participate with the rest of the former cast in any promotional work (including a previous 'People' magazine spread) and trashed the show in his 2009 memoir.
