Taylor Swift has finally announced the release of her brand new album, and it's finally clear the direction she's headed.
It seems the country days are FINALLY behind her, as Taylor revealed to her fans she wanted her new album to showcase the "later 80's pop" style. The album is officially named "1989 and will hit stores and iTunes October 27.
Swifty also released her brand new single "Shake It Off" complete with a music video. The song is pretty catchy, and if you really listen to the lyrics, she's pretty smart too.
While I don't think the single is anything to rave over, it's not going to stop her from gaining another #1 smash hit.
