He lived a long life.
Don Pardo's voice is one that will be remembered forever. The legendary announcer, who introduced the iconic stars as well as up and coming ones from "Saturday Night Live", passed away Monday at the age of 96.
His daughter confirmed the news.
Pardo was with SNL from its inception back in October of 1975, and continued on for 38 seasons, only missing #7.
It is no doubt that cast members over the years, just getting their start, would anticipate Pardo announcing their names at the end of the opening sketch.
RIP Don.
