So Much For Benedict Or Tom: Joaquin Phoenix In Negotiations To Play 'Doctor Strange'

Last month, it was reported that "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch and "Dark Knight Rises" Tom Hardy were being eyed to play Doctor Strange in Marvel's new film.

Well, it appears the studio has someone else in mind.

There is a new report that Oscar nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix is now in negotiations, but some sources are claiming the deal is further along. Joaquin MAY have already signed on.

There has been no date set.
