The "Big Bang Theory" Has A BIG Problem: Show Production Delayed After Contract Negotiations Stall
Posted on 3:12 PM by jackline
Yeah, things were kind of touch and go for awhile....
But now?
This is bad.
The contract negotiations between CBS and the 5 main cast members of "Big Bang Theory" (Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar) have officially delayed the production of season 8.
The show has already been renewed through a 10th season, but core 5 have remained adamant that they receive equal pay and a substantial raise. No side has budged.
Rumor has it they are circling a $1 million pay per episode range, which is what the cast of "FRIENDS" was making in the final season.
As of now, the show's premiere date HAS NOT been pushed back.....
YET.
Thoughts?
