The time has come:
Hilary Duff's brand new single "Chasing the Sun" has arrived 1 day before it hits iTunes (July 29th). It's been over 7 years since we were treated to those breathy vocals, but the wait is over.
And I'm not exactly jumping up and down.
"Chasing the Sun" is a guitar driven number, with a more folk/pop vibe to it rather than her former pop masterpieces "Come Clean", "With Love" and "Happy".
I'm not saying I dislike "Chasing the Sun" by any means, but I am hoping the upcoming album (released last this year) will see the Duffster return to her glory days.
Did we all expect Hilary to jump aboard the EDM train and have us jumping up and down in our living rooms? Maybe. But that hope should have been dashed when she announced she was working with Ed Sheeran.
