Broadway legend/actress Elaine Stritch passed away today at the age of 89. She was in her Birmingham, Michigan home at the time.
The 70 year veteran earned herself a Tony Award back in 2001 for her one woman shoe "Elaine Stritch at Liberty", and also won an Emmy for her role as Alec Baldwin's mother in "30 Rock".
Her biggest Broadway successes came from "Company" and "Sail Away".
