I love this guy.
Last night, the annual sports awards show, the ESPYS were handed out and there was one moment in particular that made it truly special.
Michael Sam of the St. Louis Rams, who is the first openly gay football player to be selected in the NFL draft, became very emotional while accepting his Arthur Ashe Courage award.
He recalled his coming out, while thanking those responsible for where he is now. He then went on to thank his boyfriend (whom he arrived at the show hand in hand with) Vito Cammisano. Michael was noticeably choked up during the moment as were many in the crowd.
