"Teen Wolf" Recap: Family Matters

This show.....

THIS SHOW IS JUST EVERYTHING.

Following it's stellar premiere last week, the gang returned to Beacon Hills to deal with baby Derek and figure out what the HECK was going on with him. I was admittedly hoping this would happen fast so I could feast my eyes on Tyler Hoechlin.

But I digress.

The whole plot unfolded as a master plan by Kate Argent, who was revealed to have quite the past with a very young Derek. Kate needed Derek back as his younger self, so that he would trust her to show him where the Hale family fortune was.

And it unfortunately worked.

The gang rallied together to try and save (baby) Derek from the Argent were-panther (I think that's what she is) but were met by some heavy competition in the form of Berzerkers. Scott, Malia and Kira were no match for the monstrous creatures, and it took (baby) Derek to return to the fold to help them.

Upon leaving Kate face to face with the man/wolf who ended her life, she prepared to battle Peter Hale.....

But UNFORTUNATELY, their battle was brought to a halt by an unknown assailant who blinded the pair and made off with the Hale $117 million family fortune....and Kate managed to escape.

FINALLY, while (baby) Derek was battling the Berzerkers, he returned to his natural form and all "Teen Wolf" fans rejoiced when, in the closing minutes, we got a glimpse at Tyler Hoechlin!!

The episode definitely felt more rounded now that the gang was back in Beacon Hills and out of Mexico, and the action was on point with what the series usually delivers.

What did you guys think of the episode?

SOME NOTES: 

1. YAY for having Poppa Stilinski back....BOO for Poppa McCall.

2. How adorbs is Deputy Parish???

3. I need more Kira/Lydia scenes. They were hilarious together.

4. The whole Kate/Young Derek makeout scene was a tad too much, but it definitely added to the story.

5. The whole scene with Young Derek and Stiles with Poppa McCall was great. Nice to see the show bringing back the comedic side of Dylan O'Brien after a very dark 3rd season. I missed this!!!

6. Who do you guys think took the fortune??

7. How could I almost forget the look on Peter's face when he laid eyes on Malia!? That story line is just getting started people!!

BREAKING: Shia LaBeouf Reportedly Checks Into Rehab Following Arrest

This is probably for the best.

Following his arrest this past week, Shia LaBeouf has reportedly checked into a rehab facility.

Not much news has broken on the subject, but according to X17, the actor is now seeking treatment in a Hollywood facility.

In case you missed the news before, Shia was arrested late last week following a reported outburst at a showing of Broadway show 'Cabaret'. He was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.

I'm sincerely wishing Shia the absolute best, and hope he gets the help he needs.

The Show That Won't Die: "Community" Revived For 6th Season On Yahoo!

And even more news:

The ENTIRE cast is returning!!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC axed program "Community" will be back this fall airing exclusively on Yahoo Screen.

The season has been given a 13 episode order.

Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Ken Jeong, Allison Brie, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash and Yvette Nicole Brown will all be back for the newest installment.

SERIOUSLY?! Lionel Richie Has Name Misspelled At BET Awards When Receiving Lifetime Achievement Honor

Talk about RIDICULOUS.

Last night, R&B icon Lionel Richie was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2014 BET Awards.

Upon taking the stage to accept, the 65 year old singer's name was seen flashing across the screen...

SPELLED INCORRECTLY.

The name actually said "Lionel Ritchie" instead of the proper Richie.

Of course, Lionel was completely in the dark about the error and continued to thank everyone for the honor. The award came after a stellar lineup of performances paid tribute to him including Yoanda Adams, John Legend and Pharrell.

Did Nicki Minaj Throw MAJOR Shade At Iggy Azalea During BET Awards Win??

Seems like Nicki took some classes at the Mariah Carey School of Shading....

Because, DAMN!!!

Last night, Nicki Minaj took home Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the 2014 BET Awards for the 5th year in a row. While onstage accepting her award, Nicki seemingly threw some shade at fellow nominee Iggy Azalea.

Now, was this something innocent that the Internet is making a big deal about?

Possibly.

But Nicki's reaction in itself, and the crowds.....and Lil' Wayne's??

Yeah. SHADE.

Nicki said:

"What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is, that when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it."

Amanda Bynes' Charges Regarding Bong Case Have All Been DISMISSED!!

Another great step for Amanda.

You'll all certainly remember all of the trouble Amanda Bynes got into roughly 6 months ago. The actress had allegedly tossed a glass bong out the window of her NYC apartment, after cops responded to complaints that she was smoking weed and acting erratic. During that time, she was charged with possession, evidence tampering and reckless endangerment.

Here we are now though, and things are quite different.

Amanda was told by the judge, that if she could keep out of trouble for 6 months (which she most certainly has) the charges would be completely dropped.

Amanda's lawyer was in court today for the update, and has said the judge praised Amanda's turn around, and then completely sealed the case.

Congrats Amanda, now please stay on the path you're on.

Like Father, Like Son: Robert Downey Jr.'s Son ARRESTED On Cocaine Possession

UPDATE:

Robert has JUST released a statement on the matter:

“Unfortunately there’s a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he’s capable of being,”

We’re grateful to the Sheriff’s department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale.”

"Iron Man" Robert Downey Jr. infamously battled drug addiction early on in his career, and it has seemingly been passed down.

His 20 year old son Indio was arrested Sunday afternoon in West Hollywood for cocaine possession. Indio was a passenger in a car, when it was pulled over by authorities, who reportedly caught him smoking a pipe.

The vehicle was then searched, and Indio was reportedly caught with cocaine. He was arrested at the scene (no word on the driver) where he was later released after paying $10K bail.

This is kind of amazing.

Jay Z and Beyonce are currently in the midst of their already record breaking "On The Run" tour, and have have already made waves.

Whether it be the opening night's 42 song setlist, or Beyonce's booty exposing performance of "Partition", some are only talking about one OTHER moment:

During a performance, multiple celebrity mugshots were flashed across the screen (Tupac, Robert Downey Jr.) but it was Justin Bieber's was the only one to get attention. Beyonce even said to the crowd:

Now, while SOME Beliebers find it a great thing to be mentioned during the tour, some were pretty taken aback by the move. Some are calling it "disrespectful" while others are saying they were just making a point and not shooting off an insult.

After it was made very public knowledge that Aaliyah's family was NOT happy with Lifetime moving ahead with a biopic on the singer, many wondered exactly what would come of it.

RIP: "Designing Women" Star Meshach Taylor Dies At Age 67

So sad.

Meshach Taylor is best known for his Emmy nominated turn on the 90's sitcom "Designing Women".

This past Saturday night, surrounded by his family, he passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of only 67.

DRAMA!! Shia LaBeouf Escorted Out Of 'Cabaret' Showing......IN HANDCUFFS!!

UPDATED: 

Word is coming in that Shia had been acting disorderly during the show, and yelling and just being loud. A Broadway songwriter, Benji Pasek, who was in the building at the time, says Shia was "in tears" during his arrest.

He is currently being held at the Midtown North Police Station



And we don't even know WHY it happened.

28 year old actor Shia LaBeouf was reportedly escorted out of a Broadway showing of "Cabaret" Thursday evening.

The report started pouring in off of social media, and in the photo below (courtesy of JustJared), many are saying he was handcuffed by authorities.

There has been no word on exactly what happened during the performance which led to his removal.

Sherri has JUST released a statement announcing her departure from the show:

“It’s been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on,”

WHAT!?

While nothing has been officially confirmed, TMZ is reporting there was a late meeting at ABC in which they've decided the show needed HELP.

This includes the firing of Sherri Shepherd, and rumblings that Jenny McCarthy and executive producer Bill Geddie may have joined her.

The show is said to have been in a downward spiral since Jenny joined the program, with some saying it threw off the chemistry of the show.

After retiring from the show last month, Barbara Walters is scheduled for tomorrow's program, which will reportedly address the issue.

This would in fact leave Whoopi Goldberg as the lone host.

No replacements have been announced, but Ross Matthews is rumored.

Did Luke Grimes Exit "True Blood" Because Of Upcoming Gay Storyline???

This is interesting.

If you all tuned in to the season premiere of "True Blood" this past Sunday, you'd have noticed that a different actor is now playing the role of James (it's now actor Nathan Parsons).

Nathan has officially taken over for Luke Grimes, who exited the series.

Well, we may have discovered exactly WHY Luke left.

According to Buzzfeed (and HBO), Luke exited the series due to knowledge that his character would be heading into a same-sex relationship with the character of Lafayette (played by Nelson Ellis). Luke reportedly objected to the first few scripts he read, and informed the producers that he would ONLY continue on if the story played out that Lafayette was attracted to James, but it wasn't reciprocated. He also reportedly refused to partake in any same-sex kissing and sex scenes.

While HBO is standing by their story, Luke's rep has fired back saying Luke wasn't even privy to that far in advance of stories, and that it was a simple scheduling conflict. He also stated that Luke had an out clause in his contract.

What do you guys make of this?

This doesn't portray Luke in the most positive light, but I have to wonder WHY HBO felt it was necessary to release so much information? They couldn't have just said a difference of opinion or something?

After delivering their last studio album "Neighborhoods" back in 2011,  (and a smaller EP in Dec. 2012) Blink 182 is gearing up for a one night performance at the 02 Academy Brixton in London on August 6th.

This show is in hype of their headlining gig at the Reading and Leeds Festivals later on in the summer. Member Mark Hoppus spoke out about the one night in London:

Brad Pitt Gets Dirty Alongside Shia LaBeouf & Logan Lerman In FIRST Trailer For "Fury"

Maybe it's not a stretch for Shia though.

Anyways, the very first trailer for Brad Pitt's upcoming starring vehicle "Fury" has been released, and it looks incredible.

The film is a World War II piece that follows Pitt's character Wardaddy along with his allies who make the final push into Europe. I have to admit that the casting for the film definitely got my attention, but after seeing the trailer, I'm sold.

Not only do Lerman and LaBeouf look good (as does "Walking Dead" former star Jon Bernthal), Pitt immediately drew me in.

Perez Hilton Re-Opens Feud With Lady Gaga: "Fame Poisoned Her"

You know, when you read his words.....and then read reports.....

It's not hard to believe this.

During an appearance Tuesday on Australian talk show 'Mornings', celebrity blogger Perez Hilton once again opened up about the falling out he experience with former friend, pop star Lady Gaga.

Pere has talked openly before about what led to the downfall of their friendship, but went into a bit more detail this time. He spoke about the incident that triggered the end of their friendship:

'Actually, all the drama went down in Australia in the summer of 2011,'

Perez revealed he had Gaga participating in an interview (with himself) in which was being filmed for television. 

'She proceeded to get obliterated drunk, drinking Jameson, and she was a surprisingly functioning drunk woman,' 

'The [question] framing made her real angry,' 

'The fact that I brought up her boyfriend made her livid and she stormed off the set and stopped the interview,'

He revealed following the fight, he felt that she was using him the entire time, just to get the exposure for herself. When asked if he believed the alcohol had a role in her problems that day, Perez quickly shut that down, saying: "No, I think it was the fame that poisoned her".

When asked if he wanted to salvage a friendship and fix their broken friendship, he also quickly shut that down:

'I have zero interest. I don't want to be her friend. I don't need friends like that in my life'

All of this reveal, comes almost a year later, after their feud turned nasty and public. Gaga blasted Hilton on Twitter telling him to stay away from her, and to quit stalking her and her family. Hilton then released a lengthy letter on his website detailing 'Lady Gaga's Lies'.

He also then struck back at her following many of Gaga's "Little Monster" fans sending him death threats as well to his infant son.

Justin Bieber Involved In Minor Crash In Beverly Hills After Trying To Lose Paparazzi

He's fine.

Late this afternoon, Justin Bieber was unfortunately involved in a minor car crash, when the SUV he was being driven in was struck by a BMW pulling out of a restaurant parking lot.

According to eyewitnesses, the BMW misjudged the speed of the SUV and pulled out too late.

Justin quickly hopped out of the SUV, and into another, before taking off.

Now, here's the catch:

The SUV Justin was in was going too fast to try and lose a paparazzo.

Nobody was hurt.

"Teen Wolf" Season 4 Premiere Recap: Dark Moon

Anyone else EXHAUSTED after watching "Teen Wolf" last night!?

I mean, in the best possible way EVER?

Last night, our favorite Beacon Hills residents returned (well not ALL of them) and we were already thick into the action.

Scott was joined by Stiles & Lydia as well as (now series regulars) Kira and Malia as the 5some went on a hunt to find the MIA Derek. It's been roughly 2 months since they last saw Derek, but for the fans, we all know the last person he was with:

A very much alive Kate Argent, who is now a were-panther!!

It was revealed that Kate had Derek stored in some crypt, where he appeared to be unconscious. After some stellar back and forth action that saw our beloved gang cross paths with the crotchety old lady from last season, who knew all along where Derek was, as well as some mysterious creatures, the gang split up and Derek went off with a returning Braedan. Those things attacking Scott and Braedan by the way, were creepy as HELL.

We were also finally given the backstory on how Kate survived her attack and "death" at the hands of Peter, and now with everyone knowing that Kate is alive, it's going to make for one interesting season.

The biggest twist of the episode came in the closing minutes when the gang did in fact find Derek......

A very YOUNG, teenage Derek!!!

It appears Kate has done something to him that has reversed his age somewhat, but I'm totally confused so I'm going to have to wait until next week for an explanation.

As you can see, this was just a quick recap of the show, which I will continue to do throughout the season, but as always, some questions/observations:

1. That new intro is BAD ASS!!!!

2. Scott and Lydia explaining who Kate is to Kira and Malia was actually heartbreaking because everytime I heard Alison's name, it made me sad.

3. How long until Poppa Argent finds out his dear ol' sister is alive?!

4. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, but did anyone else find it odd not to have them in Beacon Hill???

5. Malia is DAMN funny and I'm thrilled Shelly Hennig is a series regular now!!!

6. I also missed Mama McCall and Poppa Stilinski. Hopefully they'll be in next weeks episode. 

7. SO HAPPY to have Stiles back in comedic form. The Nogitsune story is over (which was amazing by the way) but having the old Stiles back in a sigh of relief.

Well, by reuniting once again with on/off again girlfriend Selena Gomez. It doesn't seem ALL of his fans are upset by the reunion, because shortly after the first hashtag went world wide, a second supporting Justin did, this one being called #ISupportJustinProject.

This is just so damn ridiculous though. Whether or not one believes the relationship is toxic, they're young & in love. So who's to say we can't witness the roller coaster? It's not drag racing and it's not sizzurp, and it's not egging.

I almost got all of my predictions right!!

Last night, the Daytime Emmy Awards were handed out (online that is, since the show wasn't broadcast on television) and I'm mighty happy with some of the winners.

Looking at the acting categories for the daytime dramas saw some surprises as well as some much needed winners!!

Let's start with Lead Actor in a Drama!!

The lucky winner was THANKFULLY Billy Miller from "Young & the Restless". Billy had submitted his scenes from the heartbreaking storyline that saw his TV daughter Delia killed in a car accident. Billy's scenes were absolutely gut-wrenching and he very much so deserved the accolade.

Now, on the flipside of that comes Supporting Actress in a Drama.

First time nominee and now winner Amelia Heinle took home her very first Emmy for her portrayal of Victoria, Billy's wife. I have always been a fan of Amelia's work, but if I'm being honest I think the award went to the wrong grieving woman. The Emmy SHOULD have gone to Elizabeth Hendrickson, who plays Chloe. Liz brought such an emotional punch to the role in the wake of Delia's death that I am still in shock that she didn't win last night.

Back to my proper predictions, and we get to Lead Actress in a Drama!!

Soap veteran Eileen Davidson took home the gold after her triumphant (and nutso) performance as Kristen on "Days of Our Lives". I firmly believe this was Kristin's to lose the second they announced the nominations. Watching Eileen navigate through all of Kristen's emotions during her nominated run was out of this world good and what soaps are made of.

I may have mistepped in the Supporting Actor category as well.

I had pegged "Young & the Restless" star Steve Burton to take home the gold but alas it was Eric Martsolf's year as Brady!!

In a lot of ways his win really works because of the magic him and Eileen created together. It's a tad confusing though that their story line put her into lead category and him into supporting. The "Days of Our Lives" hottie definitely worked his ass off to nab his first Emmy though.

Finally the Younger Actor/Actress awards.

Nobody else deserved the Younger Actor award then the now former Will Horton. Chandler Massey is VERY missed in the role and last night was the cherry on top to truly end his run. Let's all just ignore the massive error by the production team last night when they aired a clip of his replacement Guy Wilson instead of his own.

And finally the Younger Actress award going to "Y&R" star Hunter King as Summer Newman.

The young lady was absolutely exceptional this year, dealing with a very heavy paternity story line and being able to hold her own against some of her drama's biggest stars. She definitely has a long, Emmy career ahead of her.

The night capped off with "Young & the Restless" taking home Outstanding Drama Series and I couldn't see it any other way.

"True Blood" Season 7 Premiere SHOCKER: Who Was Axed BEFORE The Opening Credits!?

Well, if "True Blood" was trying to make a statement with tonight's season premiere....

Mission accomplished.

HBO staple "True Blood" returned tonight for it's 7th (and final) season, and wasted no time in making sure everyone was paying attention.

The series promised something shocking tonight, and I believe they stayed true to their word. So who exactly am I talking about??

The opening to the premiere is pretty chaotic in itself, as blood & guts are flying like crazy as the Hep-V infected vampires start making carnage in Merlotte's Bellefleur's.

And the beloved cast member to wind up dead was none other than vamp Tara!!!

The scene was a bit of a mess as Tara's death almost went unnoticed, before Sookie declared "Tara's dead".

We've seen Tara die before (before Pam turned her), but according to sources, this is the REAL DEAL.

A Truly Wicked Ending: "Maleficent" Becomes Angelina Jolie's Highest Grossing Film EVER!

It pays to be wicked!!

Angelina Jolie is riding high right now, as her most recent film "Maleficent", in which she plays the evil title character, has surpassed $500 million at the box office!!

Her now 2nd placed film is "Mr & Mrs. Smith" alongside hubby to be Brad Pitt which raked in a staggering $478.2 million back in 2005. The major milestone ALSO catapulted the film over its recent chart topper "Oz: The Great & Powerful" which was sitting pretty with $493.3 million. 

The film was also said to be a passionate project for the Oscar winner, as she had always wanted the role. 

It was MADE for her!!!

Lea Michele & Kristin Chenoweth Perform "For Good" At Hollywood Bowl Hall Of Fame

Absolutely perfect.

If there was anyone who could stand in for Idina Menzel and perform the "Wicked" song "For Good" with Kristin Chenoweth, it was definitely Lea Michele.

Last night, Tony Award winner Kristin was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame, but it was those in attendance that were really given a treat.

"Glee" star Lea Michele took to the stage, and after some sweet words, the pair performed "For Good" and it's as good as you would imagine.

"Orange Is The New Black" Fans Can ALL Agree: Lorraine Toussaint's 'Vee' Is Best New TV Character!!!!

I could watch season 2 all over again just because of this woman!!!

Like a lot of you "Orange is The New Black" fans, yours truly binge watched the second season the MINUTE it went up on Netflix.

I had truly missed all of the girls (especially my beloved Taystee) and was drawn in after every single episode. However, there was a new face among them that REALLY drew me in.

Actress Lorraine Toussaint joined the ensemble as Vee, a woman from Taystee's (Danielle Brooks) past who quickly found herself locked up as well.

Vee quickly found herself in control Litchfield and clashed with other fan favorite character Red (played by recent Critic's Choice winner Kate Mulgrew).

Now, for me to continue on about the fabulous character, I need to warn you all:

The second Vee exploded onscreen and became one of the most hated villains, I was so excited that she was added to the cast, only to be heartbroken in the season finale.

An escaping Rosa (armed in a very dangerous speeding van) struck down an also escaping Vee who is now seemingly dead.

NO NO NO NO NO.

I'll be praying and hoping that Vee survived the car accident and will be on season 3.

During an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, 50 got REAL when playing "Plead The Fifth". The guest is asked 3 questions, and HAS to answer 2 of them. They can "plead the fifth" on one they don't want to answer.

Well, 50 answered all of the questions, including whether or not he's slept with Kim Kardashian (he hasn't) and what it's like to be yelled at by Beyonce (her breath isn't bad apparently).

The 3rd and final question was "Who's the most overrated rapper in the game?"

And 50's response?

JAY Z.

He also happened to quote one of Jay's songs "So Appalled" in which 50 himself says "Rather be overrated than underpaid".
